You probably think "oh my god, another half life theme map bla bla bla...", but let me asure you, that you are 100% right, it is half life theme map, in fact it is the freaking half life!

How many guys actually tryed to make half life map for cs2d? I can recall a few, but it was only a portions of that awesome game, and i present to you all a whole piece! (well not whole, but i think i made more than 50-60% of game, since is imposible to completely implement 3D game into 2D game )

Allright, before you perfectionist take a c**p on map, let me tell you, it's not perfect...I tryed to create map on image of awesome game and personaly i think it came out pretty darn good.
I actually made half a year ago this map (with some help from      
BOGeness, it was 1.6 back then) but lately i wanted to update it (2.1 now, make some modifications and eventually post it here on us )

Let's talk about gameplay:
For god sake use light engine (or some parts will suck).
Be sure to put mp_luamap 1 (cuz of some trigger_if's).
If you're stuck somewhere, try to explore (if you actually played half life game, then you will probably have no trouble of solving puzzles that are ahead of you)
Some parts are fictional and made completely from my head.
Play map with infinite ammo (i didnt place enough of ammo around).
I recommend to play on team deathmatch, or deathmatch game mode.

Map has over 8 mb, and since usgn has limit of 5mb, i uploaded it on gamebanana (you can see screnshoots there also), and here is link for download:

In Apprehension, players ambushed! Is that why you made thread cs2d trigger_if weapons striping?
Suggestions:
• Use better script something like this for teleporting players:

• Add satchel charges.
• Add more checkpoints.
• Use this sand tiles:

Note: The third tile is more soft than the second tile.
• Use "Close only if not blocked" option in most cs2d entity func_dynwall of your map.
• Use this sound instead.

I can 100% make it with the gfx and sfx. So no need more than one mapmaker. Even can add light engine.

Yes, my comments are estimated, like you've said Futhermore I were currently trying to test your map, but who cares, let it be. However this is critism and it's related to your file upload.

You've included a lot of effort to create this map. At all it seems reliable but you haven't used that great tiles, the sprites are okay and your sound effects are well done

@user Jite: if you cant read and see where download link is, then i cant help you, and im geting tired of your coments, they are never map related.. you only show yourself as some guy who talks about something that nobody doesnt care and what isnt really important (maybe you are complexed kid, i could not tell really)... if your coments are not map related then please, be a smart person and dont write anything at all... and dont even bother to reply on this comment, i will simply ignore you

Dude, every file of you have that bunch of text in the description, that nobody reads it. Bring a bit strucutre in the text and use the given bb-codes man. That's the sense of it. For example:

Map is quite good. Would be more fun if infinite ammo was not required. Put more ammo or lower health of the bosses.

I will give a like if you remove these eye-cancer chat messages.

@user HPB: well actually that room suposed to have a purpose in earlier version of game, but now i kinda forgot to delete it, will do in next update

And thanks for your suggestions, will consider some of them and implement them in next major update (i will add 2 big chapters, but that will not be so soon)

Played it, I like it!
Why in the beginning of Anomalous Materials there are a trapped zombie? Even the room itself don't have door & have flickering street light!

Mapping oversight:
× The tram sprite have it's stairs at south while the door at north.
× When a player arrives at "We've Got Hostiles" chapter through vent path, the chapter title don't appear.

Suggestion:
• Separate Questionable Ethics chapter from Apprehension chapter.
• Remove the G-Man teleport scene in Surface Tension (It's on Opposing Force).
• Extend "Forget About Freeman!" chapter.
• Extend places for Endgame chapter (G-Man monologue).
• Extend timeout before G-Man teleport player(s) as bad choice.

I made small update for squad of six, it was one teleport on delay so players dont get stranded in one part, if youre gonna play alone, then dont worry about this... As for blue shift @user Masea: did some awesome job, look on youtube for his work

Coop - Squad of Six has update this map?If so,i will start download at gamebanana.

On-Topic = I like it,same for the npcs,and i like the chapter called
"Surface Tension" bunch of grunts will shooting you everwhere.
Anyway,i rate this
