∗Instructions
This lua can realize the effect of not looking at flashbang, not being flashed, similar to csgo mechanism.

rewrite includes: the range of flash effects, the determination of walls and bunkers, and if purchase menu to buy flashbang then automatically switch to Flare.

∗ Author:Toby

∗ Special thanks:
Bowlinghead's ideas and watpz's help

∗ Instructions for use:
1. Open the compressed package and extract the contents of BackFlashed to your CS2D root directory.
2. Open the server option, mod, and then check the FlareToFlashbang mod (remember that the server mod is not a personal mod)
3. Open the purchase menu and buy the flash bomb

×Dont say its yours.
×Dont re-upload.

Have Fun!

What about removing it as soon as the player attacks? Check this out: https://youtu.be/s_KCXLD__GU This basically removes the original Molotov and replaces it with the Molotov I created. Not quite sure how it manages to do that, as I am afraid I lost the script somewhere a long ago.

Oh yeah, CS2D things...

I wish it was possible to do it though, using a Flare for it seems kinda stupid which is the only reason I wont get it...

Nice though, for standard games...

He is doing it right, removing flashbang server-side sends a packet to remove it on the client-side, if this packet arrives too late - flashbang explodes client-side and the white screen stays.

The only way is to replace the flashbang with an image.

That is very odd, are you sure you're doing it right? It seems to work fine for me when I use that hook.

Wouldn't it be smarter to just use a projectile hook and free the projectile (Flashbang) before it explodes rather than using a Flare?
