Well, I can update the map by myself. About you editing it do whatever you want (It's not like I can stop you anyway) but remember that you cannot post it and claim it as yours. You know the drill. The map is 'copyrighted' =].
I think the roofs fit in pretty damn well and it took me a lot of time to select all those elements that create this doom, hot, suffocating feeling.
Actually i can't imagine anything else that would fit better.
However I have to agree with you on the fact that several areas of the map are somewhat empty.
Well, I have to admit those tiles were originally made for a Fallout project. We had made some progress on it but then our main programmer quit due to personal matters.
All those maps are more like a Curriculum Vitae since I'm searching for a project-developing team that needs a mapper.
The fact that you understood the doom-like feeling this was originally meant to give only proves experience.
PS* If Kim truly is a 'she' then those 5 stars worth a lot more now.
Tested it, it's a very good map, not only the map overview picture (export map as image) tells it but also the colours and the suitable gameplay.
KimKat herself is a professional mapmaker when she says it's a good map than it is.
However some sprites like the seven rectangle ones in the middle are stretched sprites, this will look 'weird', but you will hardly notice it since it is pretty far away when you standing against the wall to see it. I personally like the background, has a wasteland feel to it.
The map's tileset is nice and I enjoy the layout of the map. There is lots of warm colors in the tileset but fewer cold ones, the warm colors is what binds the name of the map de_warmth to it's genuine title "The Warmth" and that's how I see it. Good map.
@krimhorn
That error does not exist, this is a serious project and the tileset was checked over and over again. He's just doing this so he can troll without getting flamed.
