Seriously, the story is old and lame. Bad guys come and try to kill the tribespeople and than two from each side love each other...bla bla.
The action wasnt good, too long dialogs. Just the graphic was good, but a good graphic doesnt make a good film.

seriosly wtf is so good on that movie.
Avatar doesn't sucks. It's not that amazing but it's also not bad at all. I find it quite good. But you're right with that media hype. But that again is just because some people are interested in creating a new social order, called eco-capitalism.
You already have to pay much more for things than they're worth. Maybe the twofold, threefold... I don't know. And now - for our lovely environment (I like her, of course) - you'll have to pay the fivehold or tenhold or whatever. And not until the people agree with that, you'll have to convince them about the importence of caring about the environment, respective about the importance of paying money to some products so concerns or firms take care about that. 'Avatar' just exactly fits in that hype - that's all. And that's why media - which opinion people likely recopy to social enhance themselves - hype movies like that.
So everybody says: Wow, that movie 'avatar', how people take care about their environment - as I just saw it importance yesterday on TV... and so on... - that movie is just that amazing, wow...!
My english isn't that good at all. But maybe you still understand me. Whatever. Just watch that movie and don't care about what people say!
(and watch it without any expectations!)
So: The graphics really are epic (e.g. 3D!) but the story... well, have seen better movies
and every single say its good LoL i think it have got too muthc haiters than lovers
but its overrated shit. nothing more
spf you sayd john smith

The only thing which is good in Avatar is the graphics. The story is... like every other story. Something new is found, and humans are trying to destroy it and one person saves the inhabitants. Nothing new, nothing which is impressing.

Btw: A short while ago I saw a documentation about the history of Pixar, like they started with short animation films and then went to their first cinema movie (Toy Story) and so on... That was really interesting!
