Hello UnrealSoftware user, I would like to present yet another interview from myself, AnonymousSh0t, and my part-time assistant, DannyDeth.

Today we will be interviewing The Camo, but first, we have some updates on upcoming interviews and a few other things.

Q. When did you start playing CS2D? How did you find the game in the first place?

A.     I started playing Cs2D years ago, although, didn't play it as much as I do now. I found about it at old fpsbanana, was curious to what it is when I saw Counter-Strike 2D in the menu, so I checked it out and I was amazed, but I stopped playing afterwards since it had some bugs and stuff, no lag compensation, etc.. but, as you see I started again.

Q. When did you start posting skins in the Unreal Software forums?

A.     I started uploading skins about half year ago, although I was not uploading for some time now, maybe upload some in a month, but that's just about it.

Q. What is your opinion on the "Ultr4Killer Threat"?

A.     Just another kid going more rough then usual after getting banned I suppose.

Q. Do you think there could be a threat that would scare DC as much as the "Ultr4Killer Threat" someday?

A.     Nope, not really, the game is free to use anyway, I don't see the point in hacking the site anyhow..

Q. What is your opinion on how DC has made CS2D?

A.     Its quite good and addicting for a 2D game, although, some changes could be made to make it more entertaining..

Q. Who do you think would be a good moderator on the Unreal Software forums?

A.     Well, I don't really think anyone would be a good moderator to be honest.

Q. Who in your opinion is the greatest mapper in CS2D?

A.     "Time" was my best mapper but now "Guitorres Mapper" due to his amazing work and dedication to make maps.

Q. What do you think you are best at? Skinning or mapping?

A.     Skinning of-course, I had been doing it for quite some time, although, I know how to make map to be balanced and with good tactical spots, but I don't know how to make good tiles, so I don't make maps.

Q. When did you start going by the name "The Camo"?

A.     I think it was 2-3 years ago, when I re-started playing Counter-Strike 1.6, when ever I entered a server, I changed my name, so I had to think of a permanent "ID" by which I'd be known in Counter-Strike 1.6.

Q. What do you think should be in CS2D?(Weapons,Game Modes,Player Skins,NPCs,etc.)

A.     Mercy for those who read this part..
First, I'd like Lua for every weapon so users can add their weapons (Dmg, Fire Rate, Menu Images, drops, etc..), for us skinners that would be the greatest things ever.
Second, it would be good if the users could add their own NPCs too, there are only 3 NPCs now, and they are also dull, they should have legs and stuff..
Third, Supper Supplies RPG is just mad, there should be on/off button for that.
Fourth, jumping or crouching areas.
Fifth, Upper and lower levels (layers), so lets say, if a player is on upper level, he is about to cross the bridge on aztec, so if he is on lower level, that means he is going beneath the bridge, but can't go up, same as when he is on upper one he can't go down (unless you place jumping areas there), would be better then teleports anyway.

I agree with The Camo about the layers, it could be more tactical, like the bridge on de_aztec, as he said, or the undertunnel on de_dust, also that part on the ct spot on de_dust2
But it would be really hard to DC... rewritting a lot of codes
also creating weapons would be hard too for DC, because he will also have to rewrite a lot of codes...
but with NPC`s, that would be easier, because NPC its just recently, he wouldnt have to rewrite the code, just add codes...

I think that DC will put limits, by example:
damage, rate of fire and distence are ok, (in my opinion)
Damage: 1000 (laser damage)
RoF: 1000 (m249 is 750)
Distance: 1000 (laser distance)
here is the change
Max Clips: could be 200?
Wgt: 0.5?

Well, Blazz is the guy that made the Shadows & Lights tool, and he is now a moderator. So yeah, you will see him quite often, I do believe. He's also the genius behind a new 2D engine with polygon-based physics, "3D" sound, etc, etc. The list goes on, he's a really great guy and I think you will find him most interesting.
