It would be great if windows 7 users can update their system and it became windows 8
Hmm... maybe it can be fail coz i think if it can be possible that update will be higher then 10 gb We should download it part by part
I would not recommend to really install windows8 on your machine. It's only a developer edition, and it's in a really early stage. I would recommend to only install it in a virtual machine (you might want to use VirtualBox for that) and try it there.
WOW... judging from the screenshot... I think they are trying to copy the wii's GUI...
No. It's called the metro design made by microsoft, sorta.
I think it looks like an unusual design.
I've always preferred the XP, Vista and 7 GUI. But I think that Windows 8 one doesn't look as nice.
The Win 8 GUI, aka Metro (or we), was used in the Zune program and Zune media players. Also in Win Phone 7. I kind of like the minimalist design of it. It is said to have come from the subway (hence the name Metro) stations billboard design.
Such a design is great for media players with small screens, but I think none of us would like it on their 30'' 2560 x 1600 px desktop screen. Microsoft failed badly with this one, they need to keep Desktop and Tablet in separate editions.

I've never used Zune so I wouldn't know much about that.
I personally just think it looks a bit of mess for Windows 8. If there are customization options then I'd probably like it.

I'd love it on any screen. It's simple to read and is looking good.
I personally think that Windows 8 is a little too much like the tablet Version of Windows 7.
The Start Design will probably see the greatest differences ever (except for maybe win 95), and also the boot time will go down to up to 10 Seconds. Also Windows 8 is made for Touchscreens. All in all I think that the changes will be positive, even if they most definately will take some time to get used to the new design.
Every OS was complex until Apple came with iOS.
When Apple got "Back to The Mac" with Lion, every company, so did Microsucks -sorry, Microsoft-, did the same. Now this is the first OS that follows. We expect linux soon
