Besides sleeping disorders, there are many others elements that simply stop people in getting their deserved sleep. But this time is something that they are fully responsible for. I am talking about bad habits like:
thinking at all the problems they have, all the debts, work problems, health issues, instead of concentrating on falling asleep.
remembering something bad that happened to them, how someone insulted them or any other memory from the past that should stay in the past.
getting into bed with one thought in mind: “I will have one of those nights when I can’t fall asleep. Off, I wish I could sleep fast like my boyfriend/girlfriend, husband/wife. They are so lucky”. This just the type of attitude that is keeping you awake and keeps the sleep at a distance.
After a morning wake up and a lot of hours at work, we all want to just go home, take a shower, eat and enjoy a relaxing sleep. From reading this thread, I guess there's people that can't sleep with music and some do.
Well, I love falling asleep to music.
Not the typical hardcore techno or hard trance I listen during the day, but some calm progressive psy trance does it for me.
(I actually have better dreams listening to music, dunno why)
