Good morning fellows..
Good news for all you lovely Android users all over the globe. Latest reports state that every Android phone with WiFi enabled past version 2.2 (which is most smartphones that have Android) is sending to Google all the saved WiFi Passwords. That said, every time you connect to your house WiFi, your phone is sending to the company the password.
Combine this with the Google Street View scam (Google collecting WiFi data from StreetView cars and guessing passwords) you get to the fact that right now the tech giant can have an over 80% of all WiFi networks' passwords.

What do you think?

Combine this with ads tracking (vendors collecting your data and guessing what would you buy) you get to the fact that right now the they can have an over 80% of all your private info.

What do you think?

Also my Wi-Fi is too stronk to connect to it from outside of my garden.

Regarding the iPhone 5S, which is off-topic, your fingerprint never leaves the device. As a matter of fact the fingerprint isn't stored in the device itself as well. Just a hash is available that cannot possibly lead to the original print.

That's what they said. Of course your fingerprint leaves your device. At least when the NSA starts forcing apple to do so.

Uuuh shit, so now, after they've found out my wifi password because my laptop is using wifi, they ALSO know it because of my android phone. Shit! What should I do now? They know the same information twice!

Really, why should I care about small unimportant information like my wifi password when google/other companies know so much more because of my pc / laptop . user oxytamine is completely right.

This is a feature. Simply don't use it if you don't trust Google. Apple offers comparable backup systems with iCloud (even though iCloud doesn't save WiFi passwords afaik).
There's no doubt that saving backups of any kind in the internet is a security risk. You either trust and hope that nothing happens or you simply deny yourself this luxury.

I actually think that WiFi passwords are less of a security risk than regular account passwords. You can only make use of WiFi passwords if you are close to that WiFi. Do you really think that some guys from Google will drive to you just to use your WiFi?

Secure your WiFi if you're really afraid of this. Disable DHCP and add the MAC addresses of all your devices manually. This way other devices can't get into your WiFi even if they know the password. Of course there are still ways to break in (manipulating the MAC address of a device for example) but it gets much more complicated and you need to get the password AND a permitted MAC address.
Also consider to lower the power with which your WiFi router operates if you can. Reducing the range that way makes attacks much harder/slower unless you literally open your door for intruders.

And if you don't believe in all this stuff: Disable your WiFi. Use cables. Much safer.

Well actually better don't use the internet at all. It's a dangerous place.

However I agree that it would be much better to ASK instead of just enabling this feature by default...
