you also have to consider that M4A1 has only 1 more damage point. AK47 and M41 have both 20+ damage. this means: both weapons need only 5 hits (5*20=100) to kill a player without armor.

conclusion: the damage doesn't really matter at all in this case! the AK is as powerful as the M4A1 because you need the same number of hits to kill. The only negative point on the AK47 is the accuracy but this is compensated by the lower price.

in short:

AK47
√ price
× accuracy (in most situations [when you fire at an enemy which is on your screen] it will not matter much)

M4A1
× price
√ accuracy

• damage can be considered as equal

> balanced imho √

(I'm not sure how armor will change this. I assume that you will still need the same number of hits to kill but I'm not sure and too lazy to check that)

Why not have an env speed modifier?

if you pass through it, you would either go slower or faster

eg: I find it awkward for someone to "climb" a ladder sprite or "swim" a soggy swamp at running speed.

speed modifier is possible with lua. Just make a move trigger which lets your lua script work and speedmod the player

I think Ak47 should have more accuracy, you think it needs more damage. I think DC got it.


And DC. This has been suggested many times, but...

CS2D needs cars Then a CTF with 2 cars (or 1) on the map would be fun. Many fun things could be done!


On a side note: I would like a command mp_forcespawn.

It forces players to spawn when they can without them having to click fire.

Edit: Is there some way we could add our own weapon info? I mean the tooltips. I would like to add DPS there.

I agree, Mac10 should be alot stronger. Mac10 was awesome back in the days, now it's so weak, it doesn't even get used.

you have to be a T to buy a mac + you need enough money + you need to stand on a buyzone + you need to be in a game mode which allows buying + some other things.

Now its hard to see what i have placed, and need to check the entity every time.

Same at the env_item, should be nice if it's possible to show the weapons too.

And if its possible, to change the info_t/ct/vip to show the player.
