According to the words of the Quran, and by extension that of God, the only obligations of a Muslim are their oath, their prayer, fasting during Ramadhan, alms giving, and at least one pilgrimage to Mecca during their lifespan. No where did God nor Muhammad proclaim that they don't support gay people.

On the other hand, those who stand fast by the laws of the Sharia places their faith in the politics of other corruptible men (according to your faith). This is analogous to professing word by word that you yourself are simpleminded and that others with more ambition and intelligence than you should and will control how you perceive your own faith. Doesn't lend much credibility in my opinion.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but according to the Bible, sodomy aka homosexuality is a sin? Can't say the same about Qu'ran though, but I confide that the Bible condemns homosexuality.

you can say "What did they do to you?", "They are Humans like you", blah blah blah, but the main problem is with Population, a new born means a new worker/Soldier/Guinea pig, sure, each new born means one more mouth to feed, but the fact that they could become Workers to support 10 others outweighs that

Now, there, there are already millions of women who take birth control pills and go for abortions, it meant that the population increase is slowing down, this means lower numbers of workers, as far as i know, Homosexuals can't get children with each other, by giving them hope, it means more homosexuals, more of them = lower population increase statistics = lower amount of workers, Discrimination encourages people to get out of the life of a being a Gay, and that would see more People in the next generation, and discrimination could be what saves YOUR Bloodline from being kicked out of the Gene pool just because your grand-grand-grand only kid decides to become gay

This is flawed (Limited resources...?), and wrong as a reason to not have homosexuality allowed/accepted. Unless you also feel that people should be whipped if it increases their productivity, or that this really is a major, pressing issue that needs to be dealt with now

That passage straight-out says gay men should be put to death simply for being gay.

Qi`ran is noticeably more tolerant - it does suggest homosexuality is senseless and generally unnatural thing, but does not demand any specific punishment for such, per ce.

Yamaxandu - I`d like to know why deceleration of humanity birth rate is a bad thing. We`re dangerously close to overpopulation as is. Until such time humanity discovers reliable terraforming technology and/or reliable bulk space travel, deceleration of birth rate is a good thing.

Second, what`s that about bloodline? Historically, it`s been proven quite well that trying to keep your bloodline "pure" is a surefire way to end up being freaks. Think of royal families, who were stuck inbreeding for generations due to foolish concepts of pure blood. Look at their oh so pleasantly tangible chances to end up hemophiliac, genetically deficient or just plain fugly due to genetic stagnation. Is that the future you`d want on your children, Yamaxandu?

Finally, third, had you noticed the rate of unemployment? The fact it`s ALREADY a problem to score work, that a lot of offered jobs are becoming busywork simply to satisfy the legal requirements of employment? That there`s already several workers contending for each available workplace? And you want to add even MORE workers to that hungry desperate crowd, who`d love to work, but gets no offers as is?

That`s exactly the kind of thing that keeps happening, actually.

Pretty much everyone is born with inherent desire to change the world to fit their personal ideals and views. Most don`t have the capacity to do much... Those that do, tend to be mentioned during history lessons.

Granted, no one managed to change the whole world at once, yet. At most, people managed to alter a continent a pop. But who knows, maybe more is also possible.
