Just one question- how much damage do the new weapons deal?

correct. portals do not cast any light engine lights. just the following things:
- light entities
- flashlights (toggle with f)
- flashbangs
- flares
- planted blinking bombs
- all explosions
- muzzle flashs while shooting

overall its really amazing, i love the lighting.. itll add more enjoyable gameplay. gas masks and satchel charges... and everything.. This is a great way to add the 2 to the version 0.1.2.0!!

BTW.. i also dun like the new FN F2000. yates made a better one

The lighting is written by me in C++, yet, DC's compiler differs from mine and he had some bugs that did not happened with my compiler.

Soon I'll make a thread about CS2D Lighting Updates/Suggestions + Tutorials.

no, of course it's not planned to add any new weapon to the menu (you can now change the buy menu with a command though - so the menu image makes sense).
I know that these weapons are quite strong and obviously too strong to be standard weapons. it was my intention to add strong weapons which can be used by mappers/scripters for special scenarios.

oh and yeah, the light engine is by user SQ as he just said. sorry that I forgot to mention it in the thread (mentioned it in the changelog/video description though). really great work by him!

I hope to release the new version officially asap. I can't give you any date though.
