For example CC won't run on Athlon 3200+ because it only supports MMX, SSE, 3DNow! but it will work on Intel Pentium 4 because it supports MMX, SSE, SSE2, SSE3.
It looks like CC needs processor which support SSE2 / SSE3.

I really don't think that it is the CPUs fault though.

Nem: I didn't say it works fine on Debian OS
, it works pretty slow on it, that's because I don't have video card (I haz onboard).

But still, it works
![](img/smiles/ugly.gif)
p.s. have you solved a problem?

mafia_man: It's programmed in BlitzMax. It's probably a problem caused by BlitzMax if it doesn't work because of the CPU and there is no way for me to fix it (besides reprogramming the game completely in another language).
I really don't think that it is the CPUs fault though.

I really don't think that it is the CPUs fault though.
I had PC with Athlon 3200+, and after CC update it stopped working. Few months later I changed motherboard with processor to Pentium 4, and the error gone.
And you're right it may be caused by BlitzMax, maybe there was update which changed something instructions releated during working/not working version.
Also if it works on Linux Debian 6.0 like for Blairstring, that's because DC's BlitzMax linux version is probably outdated.
