VPS: I want to start two servers on linux

Good've researched everything to solve my problem ... I have a basic VPS, but I managed to start a server that just want to start another, more tried doing this using the linux terminal but when I start the terminal I use Putty the server starts only his log that appears 'like the dedicated starting' the fuck and when closing Putty and the server shuts down.
* I had an idea he put linux to start with the good that he caught, tried that and created another account 'to the second server' FTP and added the /etc/rc.local like I did for the first server. Just want to know how do I start the two servers when Linux starts or otherwise good this my problem
