Off Topic Decrypting a Bitlocked USB stick on VM Decrypting a Bitlocked USB stick on VM
2 replies Since I installed Ubuntu 14.04 LTS 32 bit and it works very good on my computer and I'm thankful with that, however I got a problem. I have a USB stick that's encrypted with BitLocker and Linux systems don't recognize Bitlocked removable media devices...
I'd searched on google that you can access an bitlocked removable media device by using Dislocker but I'm pretty confused to install this program on the Terminal, since I'm new at using a Linux Distro.
Moreover, I deleted the Windows 7 on my HDD because I stopped using Windows.
So, I would know if is possible to decrypt it if I use a VM (Virtual Machine) by using Oracle VirtualBox, installing Windows 7 on the Virtual Machine and decrypting my USB stick on Windows 7 VM? It would take effect?
Thanks in advance. Thank you for the info. I thought it may won't work on a Virtual Machine since I never tried it to decrypt in a VM. As for the TeamViewer is not necessary at all, I just need a .iso windows 7 installation file, VirtualBox and that all.
But again thanks, those links that you posted it will be useful for me.
