So, let`s go:
1. Do you like the thing new CS2d is coming?
2. Crossplatform behind PC and mobile phones is a cool thing
3. You`ll support this game with a new content such maps, skins, mods etc.
4. You`ll feel free to change any graphics and sounds in the game (with anti-cheat protection, of course)
5. You`re ready to pay 1$ at Google market or AppStore for game without advs and donate
6. You want a free-to-play game with non-imbalance donate (such as skins and colored nicknames)
7. "Pay to win" system is sucks
8. I`ll support idea of ingame or separate map editor
9. I wanna see old CS2d maps in that new game

P.S. Don`t add your own (#10, #11, #12) questions, it`s NOT a suggestion thread, I`m the one who asks and suggest here, plz don`t flame.

The problem with recreating a game is that, well, you've already lost a load of players who didn't enjoy the hackers and whatnot but who might of kept playing with a bit of dedication. Also you're cutting off a load more players by making people pay for a game without ads. Why would you do this? Make the game ad-free and make people pay for cool shit in-game which doesn't unbalance everything - you already suggested that and asked us, I'm pretty sure everyone said yes.

If you really really want to do this, which in my view would be a waste of time, make sure you've got the dedicated tournament gamers behind you. Make a game based on what they want and you've easily got an already large player database. Then the rest just roll in because the game is being played.

I'd like to say that I'm not exactly interested in answering the questions as I mostly agree with what others answered but I'd like to mention that Play2D is already doing what you're planning to with a lot more features. I won't exactly reveal what's being made since it's up to Starkkz and others to show whatever they want but I can testify that it's steadily progressing. Having 3 games of same type wouldn't end well. I'd rather focus on the mobile games you were developing because you didn't exactly perfect/finish them.

I concede that I love top-down shooter. However redoing CS2D isn't that much easy. There is a predecessor : Play2D. How it ended now is being stuck in developing. And it looks suck now because of its UI designing which is 99% look like CS2D. If you feel like helping reshaping CS2D, why don't you join Play2D team?

Thinking of changing the engine used by the game, you might want to look into Mutant Factions. It's a top-down shooter which looks like CS2D. It is better than CS2D despite that shitty skill system in which it actually allows jumping. Considering Mutant Factions may bring you new ideas such as game modes and actual contents etc.

I disapprove of the statements that some people commented that Mods can do it. Redoing CS2D means change of the source code and (almost) everything including the game engine, graphics, contents and obviously the modding feature. Writing scripts for CS2D will not help in reshaping CS2D.

So, here's your answer:
1. I like the idea but not interested.

4. I don't know what does this question mean.
5. No, unless mobile version can compete with PC version.
