ok i think im getting the hang of this. now this is a question that may need a mod but. how do you make a pistol. i see it on youtube on raptor hunters (which im too chicken to do myself) so i wanted to use that. it might make a great replacment for my crossbow that one hit kos. so an answer will be appreciated
Just in case you didn't fully understand Flying Lizard's entirely correct answer to your post:
He means that in the original Stranded ll game the pistol cannot be made by the player.
You can run into one (rarely) if you are playing on an island that has a pirate as the random character. He will trade a pistol, sword and other fighting sorts of things for "valuables" such as gold nuggets, green crystals and pearls. (and wine. . .in spite of appearances this is a "wine bar" sort of pirate, not your usual rum-soaked variety!)
But to make a pistol with stuff you find on the island, you will need to play in a Stranded 2 module which has a pistol as a regular weapon. The "kidnapped" modification does, and I am pretty sure the "massive" mod does. You'll have to check on the others.
There is one other possibility. Because the pistol was actually created in Stranded 2 (although it is not possible to make one yourself) you can "Give" this item to your player.
(1) use the `/~ key (usually right below the ESC key and to the left of the number keys that go along the top of the keyboard.
(2) when the page comes up (should be a bunch of text on a plain black background showing some game information) type in "cheat".
(3) another screen will come up with several large buttons on the right hand side of the screen. Towards the bottom you will see "give item to character." Click on that button.
(4) you will now see a screenfull of icons--small pictures that the game uses for all the items. Look for the picture of the pistol, then click it (you'll want to Left Click in order to get 1 instead of 10 of the things!) .
Don't forget the ammunition. There is another icon with a picture of a single brass-colored bullet. Right click on that button--each right click will give you 10 more of the item.
(5) ESC back to the game. You will have a pistol and bullets in your inventory.
ex (lets say ur at lvl 1 in planting. it takes like 3 seconds to plant grain at lvl 1. that being said, at lvl 2 will it take less time to plant grain? or, does the time only decrease when the ground glows and a message appears saying
"skill improved"?

Yes planting skill does, but i'm not sure about other skills

can you provide more information? maybe photos of the box/disk? is there any company name or something written on the box?
Because there is an add-on for sims 2 called stranded

So my questions are:
1. How do I reduce my fatigue? I press Z to sleep but nothing happens.
2. How do I plant a grape?
3. How do I tame an animal?
