last question: should I build my camp near the hippy-grandpa's camp?well, there is no recept how to do it best, you can build it anywhere you like, but it would be best to build it somewhere where you've got most basic resources.
remember that the hippy is only important at the beginning of the map
I'm on the second island (and third in my other save)
I have done the "children of the sea" part, but I'm stuck on the map next to the house. What does the first part mean about "the shape of a hat" I only want to know the starting point please. Thanks for any help.
P.S. The game is amazing and really fun.

Edit: Another question. When I built a tree house I tried to climb the rope (with space and forward) but I just kept falling off. Is there an easier way to do this? I can't climb most trees either.

its intended that you can't climb trees in Stranded II.

How do you add starting items in the editor e.g. start the "single island" mode with a pistol?

change the texture. all textures of the models are in the mods/Stranded II/gfx folder. they are saved as normal bmp, jpg or png files which can be modified with e.g. paint or photoshop.
I know how to edit a current skin but how do I make the skin go on the model, weapon, ect... Example: I make a model (using Wings 3D) then I want to add the skin I made (using MS Paint). Do I just save it in the mods/StrandedII/gfx folder?
