This map is the result of a discussion with me and Pyrocracker, the maker of the original riverside ctf map.
He gave me the permission to remake the entire map, so i deleted unneeded ways, rooms, and redesigned the most corridors.

This map is best played with the Construction gamemode.

Look here for the original riverside map.

Zeroarcanus the original riverside IS a standart map! its made as a _de map with bombspot and else! designed for clanwars! when youre interisted in that version pm me. i guess i still have it somewhere. look for the original riv construction for more "history" infos about the map

however, I already told Pyro that the normal map isn't that great. Now it's way better. :). Usual I downrate maps using the normal dust tiles, but you included tiles yourself, and the map isn't looking as shitty as it was before. Great work, great maps, great graveyard.

leiche gave riverside a new age
i like it that the map has still his old characters and the ground layout. and i like it that leiche uses still the teamgates that i put into the first version. and the best thing: i like how leiche gave the map more color!

The only kind of criticism by me would be that the map's not using a unique custom tileset, the map's using the default dust tileset which is kind of getting older. For the above average mappers, I'd look forward to at least seeing a map with custom tiles. We need something new, it's 2011 we're in the future Leiche.

I like Leiche's maps, no lie, no need to downrate it, it has qualities to it. Lots of paths, objects, tile variation, creation of lakes and bridges which is incredibly rare in most maps today. The map feels very sundry although it uses the default tileset, it has become a great result unlike other mappers maps submitted here which most of the time end very sad to play. This one is actually alot better. Great job, Leiche. I recommend you to continue making maps, next time though, with something more epic and with custom tiles.

Lol, I was just corious.

@map: I first thought that there are too many ways. But then I saw it's simply okay, not so many, not so few. Then I saw the TeamGates, that's a good idea, but those damn HEs can still bounce in. I didn't download it, but it looks good enough.
