The best CS 2D Graphic/Window Options
2 replies Hello, i wanted to ask what Graphic/Window Modus you use, and which is best. If you didnt knew it yet, you can make at "Launcher" your own Settings for cs2d and Make it to an Bat file. In CS 1.6 i think the 16 Bit is forbidden in Tournements couse you can see through Smoke then. Also most Players play with OpenGl couse it makes the Game faster(?). What is the best for cs2d? i play DirectX Windowed. i think, this is the best, but i can't see any difference to OpenGL, because for 2D games, OpenGL should have the same standard than directX DC Admin

it depends on your system and on your own preferences.
some video cards for instance work faster with directX but some are faster with opengl.
on slow systems you should try 16 bit instead of 32 because it could be faster. moreover on some systems fullscreen is faster than windowed.
as you see: you can't say anything in general about the best options.
