from what i can tell, it is not because the cpu is too slow
better don't ask and don't care. it doesn't really matter.
and I think it's a contributor to torque's "bullet/packet loss" problem
@banaan: 90% sure memory's not the reason.
cs2d's dedicated server is really lightweight so I think it's some library that's messing it up..
maybe timer resolution? idk

Actually, I can tell from my own experience that simply restarting a CS2D dedi to flush the memory overhead or whatever it's called does a great job to reduce lags caused by the server itself. Servers that have been constantly up and running for weeks in a row have significantly lower performance.
not that problem though
restarts don't do anything to fps/buffer
