I don't know weather it has been suggested already, but would it be too difficult to increase these rather low limits?:
cash: $16,000
health: 250 HP
kevlar: 200 AP
Just increase the limits to some values that hardly ever are needed, for example: money: 4.2 billion-and-a-something (if you understand ;-))
And you wil
Lots of Lua scripts, for example zombie stuff (zombies consider to have very high health) just need higher values.
Okay, for CS gameplay, a higher money limit would be bad, so a server-side setting to manually set a limit would be okay, which of course can not be higher than a ultimate technical limit.
At the moment, lots of Lua scripts circumvent these limit by a seperate hudtxt2. Instead of using the money variable, they use a Lua variable and write a hudtxt2 which writes the money on the screen. Very ugly, but it works. But still very ugly.
You will do a favor to many Lua scripters (I know what I say, because I've seen lots of script using the hudtxt2 trick) if you increase these limits.

Massive Admin Abuse
Remember that the HUD covers a 30% on the in-game view,
Now. with 1Billion money it will be all fucked-up, also it's based on the real CS1.6... $16k Maximum... Sethp max to 250HP and the armor is implemented by DC!
Yeah, of course you never use 4.2 billion $, I just said "some values that hardly can be ever reached". It also could be less, of course; that was just an EXAMPLE. It just should be much bigger than 16,000$. If there is problem with the interface, the digits also could be made smaller or, the more simple solution, you can shrink this ultimate limit to a size where the ultimate maximum does not spam the screen with digits.
Did you never played a Lua script which uses cash more than 16k? With this ugly trick THIS looks like shit, if you see "$0" and then a hudtxt which shows the REAL cash then. There is demand for more cash, but currently, Lua scripters use this ugly workaround.
And technically, CS2D is not based on CS; CS2D is more like a remake of CS. That's a difference!
For 16k limit on CS-like maps, you still can use a server-side setting to manually shrink the limit again, as I already said. Which is 16000 by default or could be very bigger. That would be another feature then.
And for admin abuse: If a admin wants to go nuts, let him his fun. You simply leave this server. There are many other servers around. I've seen some admins that gone nuts. They gave themselves EPIC power (laser, Super Armor and stuff) and killed everything and everyone overytime. OMG this was stupid. I left this server. And besides: Noone wants to play on a server where the admin goes nuts, right?
