Is this a joke or what? At least it's not very user friendly and surely not many people will give it a try that way.

It's just a lot of font files (probably copied from the system font folder). That and a lot of downloaded graphics from servers.

@user DC: Actually my speed was around 1.5mb/s.

There is a Python script I wrote, it's somewhere deep inside old threads of Unreal Software. Google might help though.

You don't need to know how to decrypt it unless you want to steal passwords from other people (you still would have to get the password files in that case which is actually the harder part than the decryption thing because the encryption is very weak and very simple). And the .dat file extension is 100% arbitrary and not related to the content or the structure of the content in this case.
