"Did that mean ?" very bad title with 0 information about the thread content. Fixed. Also note that the English plural is formed by attaching JUST an s. Not an 's! depends, commands, helps, thanks /DC You don't need C at all to use a VPS. You only need to learn the linux terminal commands @ ohaz: Helpful comment, and logic ! Ehm, open it, no close it, NO! open it! NO close it. We use Linux terminal commands. we don't use C++ commands, but sometimes, also do not do English genius.. @ Inflexion: What? I didn't understand, needless post go away if you won't to help me ! @ THEMUD: stop doing genius, We need linux commands.
and that's not needless.. did you even know what's needless.. See your comment and come again Mr.English. About the thread:
C language is useless regarding vps.
About Themud:
I am with Inflexion .
He (Themud) just need to make all the users know that he is studying C language. lol No, i'm not i swear.
Even, i didn't started yet. [s]Isn't C depreciated?[/s] o.O Learn C# or C++...
Edit: My bad, C isn't depreciated after all. edited 1×, last 28.12.14 03:34:14 pm
@ Nekomata: I don't think C is really depreciated, some people still using the C language.
Anyway, as others said the Linux commands are the most important to handle the VPS. C might be useful when hosting a VPS depending on what you're doing. If you're gonna write code and compile stuff on a VPS then that's understandable else I don't know why it would be useful. It could probably be useful in some cases.
However I'd prefer C++ over C due to that C++ is a extended version of C. Just recommending it. @ THEMUD: To answer your question. It depends what you need C for. If it's not at all C related then I don't know why you're asking this question at all. Managing a VPS is easy and you just need to know how command line works and you'll be able to run it fine.
